Sales Operations Manager

Our client require an experienced Sales Operations Manager to work with their Sales Teams and Digital Transformation & Analytics Team. The Sales Operations Manager would help further improve; sales systems and processes, use and adoption of CRM, sales automation and other sales management systems.

Responsibilities & duties

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Enable and enforce better tracking and logging of sales opportunities to provide accurate, real-time visibility of team and individual performance
  • Work with sales representatives to develop more accurate pipeline data and revenue forecasting
  • Apply best practice to improve documentation of existing sales processes
  • Manage the continuous improvement of sales planning, pipeline, forecasting, key account management and growth, quarterly business review processes and related sales systems
  • Support the Sales Team’s use of the CRM / pipeline through coaching and training
  • Produce monthly sales reporting for the Senior Management Team and Board
  • Work with Sales Channel Manager to develop and improve Partner Program, partner recruitment and partner on-boarding processes for distributors and resellers
  • Assist with on-boarding and training new members of the sales team
  • Work with the Marketing Team to help refine and better integrate the marketing and sales management activities, systems and processes
  • Work with the Digital Transformation Team to further develop sales enablement, sales systems, productivity tools, sales automation and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system
  • Work with Power BI Developer to improve reporting systems and dashboards and analyse key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss analysis, forecasting accuracy and quota attainment
  • Provide sales management, effective administrative systems and enforce compliance across teams to sales operating procedures, contracting processes and record keepin

Experience, qualifications and skills

The candidate should have the following education, qualifications and experience:


  • Ability to understand high level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements and ensure adoption, execution and business impact
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in sales operations with proficiency creating reports, optimising processes, training new recruits and managing analytics and dashboards
  • Highly organised individual with good multi-tasking / organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of sales pipeline analytics, sales velocity, win-loss analysis and other sales performance management metrics
  • Experience of using one or more CRM applications for pipeline management (eg Salesforce)
  • Good interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and enforce policy and systems with a team of experienced sales representatives


  • Experience of using Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise (training will be provided)
  • Diploma/Degree/MBA in Sales Management (or related subject) and / or relevant professional certifications
