EA Manager- Winchester

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Practice Manager will assist the Directors in leading our company to its full potential. You will sit on the senior leadership team and play a key role in handling clients, overseeing workflows, coordinating teams, and organising all of us. You will be the glue that holds everything together and makes this a great place to work!

The role has great potential to develop senior leadership skills and ultimately take on the overall running of the business.

Project Management/Workflow:

  • Full responsibility for workflow management across the practice to ensure design delivery revenue targets.
  • Coordinate daily activities, task assignment, and resource allocation to meet goal targets.
  • Review, create and implement systems to streamline workflow and enhance productivity across the business.

Financials:

  • Basic accounts responsibility including invoicing and debt collection
  • Keeping an eye on the balance sheet and P&L
  • Production of KPI’s, monitor financial performance and budgetary compliance reporting to Director’s
  • Support the Director’s with fee proposals

Knowledge and experience required: 

  • Proven experience in a Practice Manager/Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Experience of working for and growing a small business that services private clients
  • Understanding of business strategy, particularly around growth and developing the business, with the ability to step into a leadership role longer term
  • A background in project management, workflow management and resource allocation is essential
  • Good organisation and administration skills
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English
  • Proactive and ability to think on your feet
  • Experience in handling exclusive customers
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A results-driven mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in accounting software (which software?)
  • IT skills – which software?.
  • Familiarity with design processes is a plus.
  • An interest in garden design is an advantage.
